Reads my text messages from my Samsung phone.

These earbuds fit about as well as any earbuds. No earbuds have ever stayed in my ears, so I can’t fault these for times when they fall out. They do cancel noise but I don’t really want them to because I like to hear what’s going on around me. There is a setting that makes them capable of allowing sound through but it makes the noise around me sounds strange. I can’t think of how to explain that. I have dropped them in water and they still work so I would say they are waterproof to a certain point as far as I know. The Bluetooth works well. People say my sound quality is good on a phone call. I am willing to pay extra for the fact that they read my text messages to me. I know there are cheaper earbuds out there but they don’t read my text messages to me. I find this feature to be the most valuable when I am driving and when I am working. This feature gives me the ability to know which text messages to ignore since they read them to me. The battery life is about the same as the last generation of Samsung earbuds.

¡100% recomendados!

I really like these. Expensive, but worth it.

I love these and I have no complaints. They fit nice in my ear and it’s easy to change the ear buds. When I use the noise cancelling setting I can hear NOTHING. It’s awesome. Wireless connection works great. I had no issues setting it up with my Samsung phone.I’ve used these for phone calls and there have been no issues. I’ve had bone candy and I’ve had complaints that people can hear everything going on around me and that the mic wasn’t good, but with these I have not heard those complaints. It is expensive, and overall I think all these kinda electronics are overcharged. But it does a lot of things and they are definitely better quality then other ear buds. They’re comfortable, however after wearing them for over 5 hours my ears did start to hurt, but I also didn’t wear any earbuds for anything like that before, so I may just need to build up my tolerance.I have not worked out in these, but they feel sturdy in my ears and id imagine they would be good for workouts.

GREAT EAR BUDS GREAT FEATURES & MUCH BETTER IMPROVEMENT FROM PREVIOUS BUDS

WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT THESE… WELL, I WAS AFRAID TO WASTE MY MONEY ON THESE EXPENSIVE SAMSUNG BUDS AT FIRST BECAUSE MY EARS ARE VERY PICKY WHEN IT COMES TO ANY IN EAR HEADPHONES. AND ALL OF THE PREVIOUS VERSIONS DID NOT FIT IN MY EAR AT ALL. I TRIED EVERY DIFFERENT EAR TIPS THAT CAME WITH ALL OF THEM AND EVEN OTHERS, AND NO LUCK… WELL, BASED ON OTHER REVIEWS I DECIDED TO GIVE IT A TRY. I’M SO THANKFUL THAT I DID. THEY HAVE MADE MUCH BETTER IMPROVEMENTS TO THESE!!! THEY ACTUALLY FIT IN MY EARS FOR ONE. THEY DONT FEEL CHEAP LIKE PREVIOUS VERSIONS. AND THE CHARGING CASE IS SOLID. I LOVE THE FEATURE OF THE STEM VERSES JUST THE STANDARD ONES LIKE APPLES. THE CASE DOES NOT FEEL CHEAP AT ALL. AND THE MAGNET FOR THESE IS AWSOME! I CAN SHAKE AND SHAKE THEM WITH THE CASE WIDE OPEN AS MUCH AS I WANT, AND THEY STILL STAY IN THE CASE! I DONT EVEN HAVE TO PUSH THE BUTTON ON THE BOTTOM OF THE CASE, OR ON THE STEMS TO GET THEM TO LINK TO MY SAMSUNG GALAXY Z FOLD 5. THEY JUST CONNECT WHEN I OPEN UP THE GALAXY WEAR APP. I NOW WILL ALSO LIKE TO MENTION A FEATURE THAT I WILL SOMEWHAT BE USING NOW. ITS A HEARING AID FEATURE. A PREVIOUS VERSION OF BUDS STARTED WITH IT. AND THESE ONES HAVE THEM AS WELL UNDER BUD SETTINGS MENU. I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY FAMILY MEMBERS THAT MY TV IS WAY TOO LOUD. I CAN’T HEAR THE TV IF IT’S NOT ON 23. AND THEY ALL SAY THAT’S TOO LOUD. IM 35 BY THE WAY. SO, I PUT THESE ON AND TURNED ON THE HEARING AID FUNCTION. MY GOD 23 WAS WAY TOO LOUD!! SO I THEN TURNED THE VOLUME ON MY TV TO 7. AND LEVEL 7 SOUNDED JUST LIKE LEVEL 23 WITHOUT THE BUDS ON . NEEDLESS TO SAY, AT LEAST I WONT HEAR FROM THEM TELLING ME MY TV IS TOO LOUD ANYMORE! SADLY IT ALSO MEANS MY HEARING HAS GOT MUCH WORSE. AND I NEED AN APPOINTMENT WITH A HEARING AID DOC… I WILL SAY AND GIVE YOU A WARNING REGARDING THIS HANDY FEATURE. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU TURN THIS ON. IF IT IS NOT ON THE RIGHT LEVELS, YOU CAN LITERALLY POP YOUR EAR DRUM OUT!! ALSO SOMETIMES IT AMPLIFIES THE SOUNDS AROUND YOU WAY TOO MUCH. SO IF YOUR GOING TO USE THIS FEATURE START OFF IN A VERY SLIENT AREA, AND USE THE MIXER FEATURE AND ADJUST THE BASS, TREBLE, ETC SETTINGS BEFORE YOU GO INTO A LOUD AREA. ALSO, IF YOU HAVE ANY SORT OF LOUD SMASHING, OR CRASHING, OR LOUD POP, IT WILL GIVE YOU A FEALING IN YOUR EAR LIKE A GUN JUST WENT OFF IN YOUR EARS. I’M NOT SURE IF THAT IS DUE TO ME HAVING MY SETTINGS WRONG OR IT IS A DEFECT OR WHAT BUT I WANTED TO MAKE YOU AWARE OF IT. THE BEST WAY TO DESCRIBE IT IS LIKE POPING ONE OF THOSE CUSIONS FROM A BOX WITH THE MANY DIFFERENT BUBBLES FROM THE BUBBLE WRAP. OVERALL, I WOULD RECCOMEND THESE EARBUDS. THE PRICE IS FAIR AS WELL AND THE LEVEL OF COMFORT IS GOOD FOR THE PRICE.

    As good as it gets

I have a whole collection of ear buds but these stand out for a couple of reasons: the almost instant connection with my Samsung phone. They were easy to set up and adjust when I got them. The sound was so clear that I maybe they weren’t connected – I thought I was hearing my phone through a speaker. The second time, I dug the buds out of my bag and they connected before I put them in my ears. I like my Bose earbuds a lot but I always have to go through the Bluetooth setup to start them. I’ve not had an instant connection since wired buds. That makes these perfect for commuting. I’ve had the earlier Samsung buds; these are considerably better.

    iPhone Users Beware!

I purchased Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Earbuds on June 27, 2025 from Amazon. I returned them on July 3, 2025 because the did not work with my iPhone 15 Pro Max connected to my Samsung 43″ Class Neo QLED 4K QN90D TV. That was a shame because these Earbuds are absolutely beautiful and so comfortable that I could wear them for 18 hours strait without any discomfort. However I could only get a rather feeble volume on my Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.I went to the App Store on my iPhone and searched for Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. I could not find the specific app. The closest I could find was “Samsung Galaxy Buds” so I downloaded and installed it. I could only find two Samsung Earbuds present –“Galaxy Buds Live” and “Galaxy Buds Plus”. Nothing for Galaxy Buds 3 Pro or near that. Installing that two-star app did nothing to improve the function of a faint volume from my iPhone songs or my TV. So then I decided to do some research. My June 2025 research found that: Galaxy Buds do NOT function with iPhones (which I have) beyond a simple Bluetooth connection which left nothing for my Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro except a very basic connection. Adjusting the volume by running my hand up and down the stem of the these buds did not work. Neither did other features of my Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 work. All I could do was get a feeble volume listening to songs on my iPhone or YouTube on my Samsung TV.My research also revealed that using Galaxy Buds 3 Pro with a Samsung phone unlocks features that you won’t find on other Android devices. These features are often centered around a more integrated ecosystem experience and Samsung’s own software and hardware capabilities. Here are some key features that I found in my research that applyexclusively to Samsung Galaxy phones:• Samsung Seamless Codec (SSC): This proprietary codec enhances audio quality, delivering higher resolution audio streams, potentially up to 24-bit/96kHz.• 360 Audio with Head Tracking: Samsung devices provide a more immersive 360 Audio experience, often used with compatible videos, that tracks your head movements to adjust the sound accordingly.• Galaxy AI features: Certain AI-powered features, such as the real-time Interpreter app which translates speech, are available exclusively on newer Galaxy phones like the Galaxy Z Fold 6 or Z Flip 6. Automatic Device Switching: Seamlessly switch audio• Automatic Device Switching: This feature allows for seamless transitions between different Samsung Galaxy devices (phone, tablet, etc.) without manual disconnection and reconnection.• Samsung Quick Pair: Samsung utilizes a distinct Quick Pair protocol, which differs from standard Google Fast Pair, to facilitate quicker and more effortless initial pairing with other Samsung devices.• Adaptive ANC Adjustments: The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro leverage AI to automatically adjust the level of active noise cancellation based on your surroundings, a feature exclusive to Samsung phones.• Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are designed specifically for Samsung Phones but will work with Android phones with some limitations.I would have kept my Samsung Galaxy Buds if I had an android phone other then a Samsung Galaxy Phone because they are so comfortable and so beautiful.I hope that Samsung develops this phone with at least some of the features now missing from all but Galaxy phones. Please do your own research especially if you use an iPhone. These are totally useless with these Earbuds. With these exceptions Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Earbuds are at least mostly compatible with Android devices running Android 8.0 or later with at least 1.5GB of RAM.I wish the seller had mentioned this in his/her description. It would have saved both myself and Amazon the pain of returning these beauties.

Big Brain Buds: AI, ANC, and Surprisingly Great

When I first saw “AI-powered earbuds,” I rolled my eyes so hard I nearly sprained something. But after using the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, I can confidently say—these things aren’t just smart, they’re freakishly effective.Let’s start with comfort. Samsung finally figured out how to make earbuds that actually feel good in your ears. No weird pressure points, no “is it falling out?” paranoia. I’ve worn these while mowing the lawn (gas-powered beast mode) and while flying cross-country—and in both situations, the active noise cancelling (ANC) worked shockingly well. On a plane, they silenced the jet noise to a dull whisper. While mowing? I could still hear my music clearly without cranking the volume to ear-melting levels. The sound quality is crisp, balanced, and has enough bass to keep your head nodding. Don’t expect subwoofer-in-your-skull bass, but it’s rich and full. The highs and mids are clear, and they don’t get tinny or shrill. Now for the “AI” part—believe it or not, it’s not just marketing fluff. The adaptive noise cancelling actually adjusts based on your environment. It’s like these things are listening to your surroundings so you don’t have to. I had someone start talking to me while in ambient mode, and the buds automatically let their voice in—like a helpful little ear butler saying, “Sir, your human is speaking.”Battery life clocks in around 6 hours per charge with ANC on, and the case gives you a solid 20 more. It charges wirelessly too, because of course it does. Welcome to the future. Not everything is perfect: the touch controls are still a little twitchy. One wrong swipe and you’re skipping songs or accidentally triggering Bixby (shudder). And at this price point, it would’ve been nice to have foam tips as an option for extra sound isolation.Still, if you need reliable, smart earbuds for noisy environments—whether it’s airplane cabins or backyard chores—the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro absolutely deliver.Pros:Excellent adaptive ANC—perfect for flights and lawn dutyGreat sound quality, especially mids and bassComfortable and secure fitWireless charging, sleek caseCons:Touch controls can be overly sensitiveNo foam tips includedPremium price (but you’re getting premium performance)

The most comfortable wireless earbuds I’ve owned. Pass through mode better than Apple.

I daily drive a Samsung Ultra 23 phone and have owned the Galaxy pro buds 2, Airpods OG & Pros, and most recently Beats Stuido buds Pro. These headphones are the most comfortable I’ve experienced for my picky ears. I work in a factory and have at least one in for more than half of a 8 hour shift. The battery on each buds gets me through around 4 hours at 60% volume while periodically enabling pass through to hear coworkers. This pass through mode is fantastic for my hard of earning, tho I’ve had a feedback issue show more than once resulting in a high pitch squealing sound that is fixed but disabling pass through. This issue feels like interference or an intense increase of noise in your surroundings.Bass is great when the buds are fully seated and dual bud use is almost an complete escape from the factory floor noise. Audio is clear, loud, and with the high quality sound option enabled fantastic ( audio lag in videos is very noticeable with this option on, but also has a warning of this lag below the enbale option). My IPhone using partner who daily drives her Airpod pros didn’t notice a difference in the high quality setting. I gave them 5 stars due to sound, battery life, but mostly due to the comfort and pass through mode clarity. A non rounded review would be 4.7 stars because of the mic being very tin-y but better than the beats studio pros. These headphones come the closest to the magic I felt when putting in the Airpod pros. I can not understate the comfort. Charging is quick.Pros-Comfortable as heck, better in ear fit than the pro buds 2 & air pods pros. Microphone for calls & discord is tin-y but can be understood in a factory setting through a beanie. Noise canceling is ok near airport pros but definitely better pass through. Fantastic sound, magnetic case with flat top and bottom which is the weirdest thing to explain how great it is.Cons- battery per bud is shorter than pro buds 2 in my use case. The Find my feature requires a janky setup that feels like they still can learn from apple. Pass through sometimes squeals if certain conditions are meet but feels more like a my job issue than a bug.

Great earbuds, but one big flaw

After first day of use:ANC = fantastic!! There is a lot of construction going on right outside my windows. These muffled the construction sounds very well. Our dishwasher is a bit noisy and distracting but with ANC on i can’t hear it even when standing right next to it. There is seldom a fit test in the app that tests the audio to verify if you have a good sound seal. It will tell you if you need to try a different size tip. I was using the LG tips and the app told me one ear was good but the othe was not. Switched to medium tips and both tested good. I could tell the difference in the quality of ANC too.Comfort: I find them very comfortable and the provided tips work very well. My daughter tried them and found them uncomfortable, so take that however you want. I’d say some will like it, some won’t. That said, they are very light and feel as though they might fall out easily (though that hasn’t happened yet).Multipoint pairing: This is why 4 stars instead of 5. They only do multipoint if all devices are Samsung. That kind of stinks, Samsung. I mean you’ve got a great product, why let your arrogance and self centered Ness muck that up. This is the primary reason I stay away from Apple products. Don’t head down that path or you’ll loose a lot of customers. Here’s what I mean – I use my earbuds to connect to my phone (Flip6) and my Windows laptop. With other earbuds (under $100) I connect to them both at the same time. If I’m listening music on my laptop and my phone rings, the earbuds automatically mute the PC and go to the phone, and vice versa. That’s what I expected these to do, but they do not. I can manually jump back and forth between the two devices, but a notification on one device will not sound in the earbuds when connected to the other device – which is how the cheaper earbuds I’ve been using for the past couple of years actually do work. This does work (sort of) if both devices are Samsung (and logged into your Samsung acct). I have a Samsung tablet & phone and tried it, but it most certainly does not work if one of the devices is not Samsung. I say sort of works because it isn’t actually using multipoint to do this but is using the Samsung account to let one Samsung device be slaved to the first device for purposes of Bluetooth connection.Sound Quality: another plus mark. The sound is extremely good.Battery Life: so far so good. I’ve been using them for calls, Teams mtgs, and music all day and they are still running with good charge.

8 months of ownership have revealed serious issues

*UPDATE* I have left original review below to show how far sentiment has fallen in roughly 8 months of ownership. As of 8 months of regular use, these buds have developed/revealed several serious shortcomings in both design and reliability. While noise cancelation performance has improved steadily over time, and sound quality remains top tier, the Buds 3s have declined nearly everywhere else. I suppose for brevity I’ll just list:-Case design prevents easy cleaning of charging contacts. Unless you have a q-tip or something similar on hand, good luck.-Left bud regularly has charging problems. I’ve tried everything, even compressed air and 100% isopropyl and it’s still unreliable as all get-out. I don’t own a car so I use these daily on my commute, and probably 3 days a week I’ll open my solid green LED case to find a right bud at 100% and a left bud at 0%. Beyond frustrating when you depend on noise cancelling to even hear in the first place. Mass transit is loud.-Sometimes the buds don’t boot right. You’ll take them out of the case, put them in, and they’ll cycle ear detection on and off, switch between transparent and noise cancelling, and one or both will just stop responding. Only fix is back in the case and repeat, sometimes 5 or more cycles before they work right.-Buds are rated for 6+ hours with ANC active. I got this range at first, but over time that has reduced to barely 4 hours. When I used to get by charging them near the end of my shift, after just 8 months I sometimes have to charge them TWICE in a single shift. That is an alarming decrease in efficiency and initial quality.-Finally, the material the ear tips are made of picks up oils far too easily and quickly. The smallest amount of sweat will cause near immediate slippage. Using a headband or a beanie over top causes horrific crackling, rubbing and constantly psyches out the ear detection. Meaning, forgoing 3rd party tips, you don’t have much in the way of resolution.I enjoy these buds very much when they work. But for the reasons listed above, I will not be picking up any more Samsung buds. I have experienced better long-term results with other brands, and I cannot recommend that you purchase these buds today.—Original Review (Sept. 2024)—Just a quick aside to start, over the past decade I have owned the following in-ear buds (in no particular order):-Bose QC (Gen 1)-Galaxy Buds Pro (Gen 1)-Sony XM4-Sony XM5For starters, the fit is an improvement over my Buds Pros (and every other stemless design I have tried). Like, not even in the same league. Due to the stem and silicone tips, every few hours I’ll catch one wanting to slip out. Small downside for decreased ear fold discomfort. I wear these all day at work- more on that later- and after my ears adjusted to the new shape for a week or so, I can wear them hours on end pain-free.Touch controls are likewise the best I have ever found on in-ear buds. Pinch and tap stem are dead reliable and the swipe up/down stem for volume is intuitive and works flawlessly. The triangular stems with large, flat surfaces are instantly locatable and wonderfully usable. Stemless buds cannot compare to the ease of use.The buds look, and feel, premium. They better, at this price point. I don’t get the case gripes, but maybe that’s just because I recently retired my XM5s and their famously flimsy case for this pair. Survived a drop or two from pocket height, once on hardwood and once on concrete. Small scuffs but the hinge is still rock solid and no cracks.Connectivity is phenomenal, though this will likely only apply to folks inside the Samsung ecosystem. Can see case and buds battery info from my Watch 6 Classic, and buds autoconnect on case open to my Z Flip 5 even if my bluetooth is currently toggled off (can be disabled/changed in Galaxy Wear settings.) Got maybe a good 25, 30 feet of range before connection diminishes noticeably, worse obviously if you’ve got walls in the way.Sound quality is great, bordering fantastic after you finally burn them in. I only say that because no in-ears will compare to something like a true pair of studio monitors etc. High budget audiophiles I’m sure could pick things out to you but the in-app equalizer is great and to my ears the highs are crisp and not tinny, the mids are well developed and you can dial up a surprising amount of bass through the equalizer, and I never experienced buzzing or washout. Very good listening experience across every genre I’ve tested. Now, nothing is perfect, right? Battery life is a little short with ANC active, it runs out on me with about 2 hours left in any given shift when the XM5’s would get me through some full days. No big deal, 10 minutes in the case and im good for the rest of the night. My only true gripe would be with the noise cancelling. At times, it rivals the best I’ve experienced (for my money the XM5s,) effectively blocking most noise of all frequencies quite well. Uber trips, shopping, walking in public spaces, waiting at the train station etc they perform quite well. However, I work specialty service and in my shop I basically have to both work with heavy steel grinders and be able to field phone calls with clients/speak to customers in shop. When I’m standing and working on my machine, the ANC will be humming along smoothly when suddenly some frequencies stop being blocked, if that makes sense? All will be quiet, then suddenly through one earbud I will pick up certain sounds as louder than the other ear as they evade the ANC’s processing. It’s quite disconcerting to be honest, I’d almost liken it to feeling a pressure change in your ear but without the physical sensations. Some times it’s better/worse than other times, but I’d say by and large the ANC holds its own. If every other point in my review is a 5/5, battery life is a 4/5 and ANC is (currently) a 3.5/5.I would hope to, and assume to, see the problems with ANC addressed with future software updates. For now, as an early purchaser that understands products almost never release in a perfect state, I am very pleased with my purchase and do feel that I got my money’s worth.
